Perfect Brightness of Hope

Whether it's a girl tearing up your heart, your screaming children tearing up your once clean house, or something as devastating as a tornado tearing up the small town that you call home. One fact always remains the same, LIFE IS HARD! It's a reality of mortality! We're all going to have bumps along the way, at some point we're all going to struggle, and every one of us is going to face his or her fair share of trials and difficulties. So how do we make it through? How do we continue on with optimism and enthusiasm for tomorrow? How can we triumph over discouragement and conquer pain?

Quite simply, we press forward! We "press forward with a steadfastness in Christ having a perfect brightness of HOPE and a love of God!.... Wherefore if ye shall press forward.... and endure to the end.... ye shall have eternal life!"

So ya, today might have been rough. Maybe your cat died, or you flunked that mid-term that you studied your butt off for, maybe you found out your parents are getting divorced, maybe you're a father of six who just found out he's losing his job, or perhaps you just received the phone call that your eighteen year old grandson was lost in a tragic car accident. What good could tomorrow hold? What more do I have to hope for? EVERYTHING!

You have everything to hope for because God IS there, He is aware of you, his love is tremendous, and his promises are incredible! Believe Him, trust Him, and press forward with a "perfect brightness of hope!"

You are a child of God, you are an heir to a king, and His son, the Lord Jesus Christ has saved you from death! Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is the reality of immortality!

Being blessed with the hope that comes through Jesus Christ and his restored gospel, let us all face tomorrow with enthusiasm, confidence, optimism and patient perserverence! With hope that our future will be much brighter than our past.
