Stop, Drop and Roll Won't Work in Hell

"He's on fire!" A phrase you love to hear while witting on that comfy chair in the living room, watching Jimmer drop point after point on the opponent.

"He's on fire!" A phrase you hope to never hear while watching a friend frantically roll from side to side on the kitchen floor, while screaming at the top of his lungs.

So what's the story here and what's it got to do with the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ?

Well.... Girls love an excuse to get together and celebrate. And when they have one, what's a celebration without some "cute" decorations? Well it was these cute, left over decorations from a friend's bridal shower that led to a pretty scary/funny experience.

After gathering up all the giant, white, tissue paper balls hanging from the ceiling a friend of mine decided to decorate himself by tying them all around his waist. After the balls of paper were all secured to his belt loops a lighter was found and a new idea came..... In an attempt to give the girls there a good scare it seemed bright at the time to light the balls on fire and run around the house screaming. This idea turned to reality in a hurry.

Not anticipating the tissue paper to ignite as quickly as it did, this friend of mine was quite surprised and startled when he found himself literally on fire! Not knowing what to do he ran into the kitchen screaming and beating at the balls of fire dangling from his waste! As I'm sure you could imagine that at this point everyone in the house was nearly as startled and scared as he was. This fire dance he was performing in front of us continued on for a few more seconds until someone with enough sense finally yelled out the simple instruction that we've all heard our entire lives. Stop, Drop, and Roll. Well he did just that and guess what, it worked! And it worked every bit as well as you were promised it would when you were 7 years old.

Big problem, Simple Solution! And just like these 3 simple steps worked for my friend there are 5 simple steps known as the Gospel of Jesus Christ that will work for anyone and for any big problem life may present. Faith, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the holy ghost and endure to the end. 5 simple steps that always lead to temporal peace and eternal joy. So simple and all made possible through the sacrifice that Christ made for every one of us.

Remember, it doesn't matter if the flames you're engulfed in are physical or spiritual, it will never take more than 5 steps to extinguish them.
